It 's almost impossible to describe this book is to choose without sound, as if it resembles any other Urban Fantasy. He does not. It 's something Commitment on this story, I do not quite finger. It pulsates with menace and mystery and is full of traditions fae, but retains a sense of reality that I had never met before in the last urban fantasy books / series. This book was authentic. It 'exciting and engaging, full of sand, humor, joy, sadness, mysteryand chaos.

Darkfever tells the story of MacKayla Lane, a silly 22 year old bartender / part-time students in full-time Underachiever. Your reality does not extend beyond fashion, music, pink and her family. Mac lives in a blanket, and simple life mean to Ashford, where there are ways South GA and do not exist. All you need is an invitation to make life upside fatal Mac on it. Mac's sister, Alina, was murdered while studying abroad in Dublin.Wirelessly and without suspicion, has completed the investigation team of the case. Shaken by the loss, parents are desperate for Mac withdraw into themselves. Mac can not start the destroyed parts of his life, by Alina killers to justice was to repair. In order to fill, but for Mac, the emotional void, you must travel into the abyss.

While I enjoyed the story, I had a star for the character is knocked And Mac 'flat, incredibly girly,Manners are too "nice" and too confident. You and I would never be friends, but I respected her. She has grit, gravel, even if it is armed with a crayon, skirts, Juicy Couture bags, sandals with straps and ice Berry pink enamel. It also includes a strong self-confidence as well as the thoughts and motivations of others, leads me to think that it is not so boring as it sounds. I clench my teeth once or twice in response to feedback, even ifI found them to match their character and realistic, the conditio humana. Fortunately, Mac developed throughout history, and I expect to continue to develop the rest of the series. He also has a charming co-star in Barron's. Remains a mystery, but like all good mysteries, you unpack it, figuratively and literally.

All in all, I was the world created for these characters moning taken away. Darkfever wrecked havoc on myMind. I woke up in my dream tangled leaves, as I have this bizarre world where FAE roam the night and Jericho Barrons as hotties on the prowl. I can not wait to start Blood Fever!
