This is an excellent reference point. Period.
This is not a book borrowed from a friend or library, read and return - should be a significant addition to your equipment.

Not a novel, you're the main character and the situation is terrible.

Bug is a benchmark that any no-nonsense (or prepared piano, was prepared).
This book is not just for people who are willing to take for emergencies and unforeseen events very seriously, it is also aHelp for people who are different from the traditional tourist areas of our beautiful natural recreation areas, or perhaps want to get away from it all for a while '.
The author describes what trigger points open, you can create in your life is a bug-out situation (natural / manmade disasters, social breakdown, cause, etc.), some guidelines to help you prepare (there are several lists excellent control in the book), information from a secure area will receive, and whatAreas to offer in terms of resources, climate, geography and natural hazards.

The depth and size of this book is perfect - we have done your homework for you regarding the analysis of the various zones bug-out vehicles and disadvantages (model recommendations based on different criteria by type: SUV's, motorcycles, bicycles, kayaks, canoes, etc.) and also some recommendations gears.

The first part of this book is devoted to establishing the connection (because bugs out, the risks"Live" to bring the country's image, what a (Essentials), etc..)
The next section talks about how to get where you are: route selection, vehicle vs. feet, head, etc.
The last (and largest) part of the book is devoted to the various different areas of the bow-out, with a chapter to the description of each wilderness area, base maps, elevation data, edible wild food and easily found, and a general description of the area and what makes clear.
These sections areformatted in a way that actually compare and smoke.

The author has conducted a series of "grounded" or "paddle in the water" research and analysis in person, and it shows in this book. There are a lot of understanding of different regions and even wilderness areas within these regions, the greatest benefit for the reader to add.
I have a great familiarity with some of the areas in person, and when I read the book I thought to myself, to read: "ICertainly not mentioned xyz "... and here is there -" XYZ "- it's like talking with a local guide.

Couple this with a good book or manual Bushcraft Survival Field Manual, a handbook of first aid and some Topo maps / charts and you're done.
If only it came in a laminated version ...
